Here are the pictures from my first solo editorial with the amazing folks at outsider magazine, Irelands premier adventure magazine. Had an absolute blast working on this shoot despite the at times rainy conditions (in Ireland - never!!) and am delighted with the results.

Natalie B. Coleman
The other day, as I was innocently checking my facebook, I came across one of the most exciting collections of clothing I have seen in a VERY long time - lets just say my reaction involved clawing the computer screen while hyperventilating.
Ok, slight exaggeration there................but only slight.
This overreaction came courtesy of the extremely talented Irish designer Natalie B. Coleman. After completing her fashion degree at the Limerick School of Art and Design she went on to do her MA course at the esteemed Central St Martains. Since then she has worked with the likes of Joanne Hynes and threeASFOUR New York and has one certain fan in none other then pop princess turned designer (how original) Lilly Allen.
Her AW 11/12 collection entitled 'All The Jewellery I Never Got' is the one that caught my eye. This collection, while being the definition of fashion forward and eclectic in equal measures, still manages to remain distinctly wearable. I could clearly imagine each outfit being comfortably worn by some randomer on the streets of Dublin - in particular if that randomer were me.
The shoot itself is styled by the ridiculously talented Aisling Farinella and showcases a marvellous mix of bright colours, unusual and distinctive cuts as well as sheer skirts, while the jewellery theme is maintained throughout in the form of prints and slogans. From velvet bicycle shorts to draped white satain shirts, this collection offers the buyer peice after statement peice and never fails to wow.
Coming soon to style-tonic, these peices are bound to sell out fast so keep checking the site for updates while ensuring that your credit card is in easy reach at all times.

'Wish you were at Topshop'
Apologies for my recent lack of activity on this blog. Have been swamped with work over the last while.I swear I will never abandon it for this long again........well............i'll try.
Topshop's in store events have always prooven to be innovative visual and aesthetically pleasing treats and this one looks to be one of the most interesting and innovative yet.
This June Topshop invites you to join them in the Oxford Circus, Manchester Arndale, Dublin St.Stephens Green and Liverpool stores for summer holiday themed fun and frolics, including a ‘Create Your Own Postcard’ pop-up and a frozen yoghurt stand from Frae in selected stores. Dazed Digital.com will be hosting ‘Fashion Photography in the Digital Age’ workshops.
Visitors to the four stores during the promotional period* will be able to create their own ‘Wish You Were At Topshop’ postcard. Following a complimentary styling session and make-up touch-up, a photo will be taken with an iPad 2 against a summer holiday-themed backdrop, with the option to choose one of several Instagram** filters to change the look and feel of the image.
Once the perfect image has been captured on camera, customers can then upload their image straight onto their Facebook page and Topshop’s own gallery, allowing them to share the photo with friends. There will be the option to vote on your favourite image, with the one with the most votes receiving an extra special prize. There will also be the option to print out your postcard to keep.
Customers will be able to grab a snack from organic frozen yoghurt brand Frae, who will be popping up for a limited period in each of the four stores.
For the true fashion photography fan, Dazed Digital.com will be hosting four workshops on ‘Fashion Photography in the Digital Age’ in stores. Each workshop will focus on how fashion photography has evolved from a professional art form to the democratisation of social photo sharing and image manipulation, and the effect this has had on fashion shoots and brand campaigns.
Topshop is proud to be the first in the industry to work with Instagram, giving customers a fun instore experience and a postcard they can keep forever.

Jeffrey Campbell's Litas
Oh Jeffrey Campbell, let me count the ways in which I adore you.........well, your shoes at least.
I have been having a very illustrious love affair with Jeffrey Campbell's Litas ever since I first scrolled across them on The Satoralist some months ago. These fabulous lace up uber high platform boots are the epitome of all things chic and have shot this LA based shoe design company to fashion stardom. Indeed these boots have become a must have amongst the fashion elite, papped frequently on the feet of fashion bloggers and it girls the world over. Described by the design team themselves as being 'based around vintage inspirations, runway trending and the grind of daily life', the Litas are one of the most in demand boots on the market. Furthermore, despite their apparently impractical height, the Litas are known as much for their comfort as they are for their fashion credentials with the boot being designed in such a way as to fully support the foot and ankle, making them the ideal shoes to make that difficult transition between daytime cool and nighttime va-va-voom. Could I want these shoes any more!!
Priced online between €130 and €250 these shoes are at the decidedly affordable end of the designer spectrum and a must have item in every self-confessed fashionistas wardrobe. Now where did I leave that credit card...............

One To Watch: Kevork Kiledjian

For even some of the most knowledgeable fashionistas, the name Kevork Kiledjian draws blank stares and puzzled expressions. The man isn’t even mentioned on Wikipedia, the home of unreliable factual information on…well…everything! However, his debut show at the recent New York Fashion week was one of the most eagerly anticipated of the entire season. With a host of celebrity devotees such as DJ Leigh Lezark and model du jour, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, it is only a matter of time before this French designer becomes a much more recognisable name, albeit a decidedly difficult one to pronounce.
Kiledjian was previously better known as the founder and designer of the highly successful yet short lived label Guilty Brotherhood, one cherished by IT girls everywhere for whom money is not the most pressing object – jealous, me? Never! However it is fair to say that the words Kiledjian and cheap do not even occupy the same breathing space – but that’s not to say we cant covet his utterly fabulous New York fashion week collection from the safety of our laptops.
